Asian Health Services (AHS) provides a range of culturally appropriate services to improve the health and wellbeing of the Asian community's within the Waitemata district:
• iCare Information Line
NZ health system information incl. GP info
• Asian Breast Screening Support Service
For Asian women aged 45-69 years
• Asian Patient Support Service
For hospital inpatients & their families
• Asian Mental Health Service
For clients who are under the Specialist Mental Health Services
• Waitemata Translation & Interpreting Service (WATIS)
Covers 90+ languages and dialects (24/7)

Non-NZ residents will be required to provide proof of eligibility for publicly funded health services, such as a passport. Those who cannot provide proof will need to pay for the health services they receive.
